Cheshire Solutions is supporting a major offshore engineering team experiencing a sustained increase in workload associated with independent structural analysis activities across fixed offshore assets.
We are looking to identify experienced Offshore Structural Engineers with strong SACS analysis capability to support a long-term programme of work over the next 6–9 months.
This is ideally suited to consultants or contractors who are comfortable operating within fast-paced delivery environments and can work independently with minimal supervision.
Scope of Work
The role will primarily focus on:
- Independent structural analysis of offshore fixed structures
- SACS modelling and analysis
- Assessment of jackets, topsides, and associated offshore infrastructure
- Brownfield structural assessment and verification activities
- Load-out, in-place, fatigue, and environmental loading assessments
- Technical reporting and engineering documentation
- Supporting engineering assurance and integrity reviews
Essential Experience
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Proven offshore structural engineering experience
- Strong working knowledge of SACS / Bentley SACS
- Experience with offshore fixed structures
- Experience delivering structural analysis within offshore oil & gas or offshore energy projects
- Ability to work autonomously and manage deliverables independently
- Strong technical reporting capability
- Good communication skills and ability to interface remotely with engineering teams
Desirable
- Existing access to a SACS licence
- Experience supporting independent verification or third-party analysis scopes
- Brownfield modification experience
- Offshore wind fixed foundation experience
- Previous EPC, operator, or consultancy background
