This role is part of the Tax Department and focuses
on improving, developing and maintaining the Company’s tax technology and tax
systems. Key responsibilities will include
learning the reporting capabilities of our systems, creating reports to improve
the reliability and efficiency of tax source data, and integrating tax
calculations with software applications. The candidate will be proactively
engaged with other parts of the organization and must have the ability to
design effective tax processes. The ideal candidate has a broad
tax technical background at least in the indirect tax area and ideally
encompassing also direct taxes, international taxes and other corporate taxes
(withholding, payroll, FATCA, property, transfer pricing etc.)combined with a
solid track record of leading Tax related IT projects; project management;
process design; detailed execution; and working with tax professionals and
other information technology (IT) experts.
The Tax Technology Analyst translates “tax needs”
into “IT speak”, liaising with our colleagues at regional level and globally as
needed, fully understanding our technology systems and organization, and
leading multi-pronged tax technology action plans from ideation to
execution. The Tax Technology Analyst will be responsible for working
with tax and business partners and other stakeholders to define requirements,
collaborate on design and process improvements, building, implementing and
supporting tax systems and processes, including requirements under various
direct and indirect tax matters.
This role will center on projects related to our
OneSourceDetermination systems (RFC/GN), Microsoft Power Platform Tools,
Excel-based systems, external tax reporting / compliance software, and
integrating data and models across the tax workplace. Additionally,
