As a Software or Computer Engineering Intern at JPL, your mission is to assist in developing mission-specific software to ensure mission success. You will collaborate with lead engineers to design, code, and develop secure software applications and interface solutions for various projects at JPL.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with lead engineers in designing and coding software applications for spacecraft, science instruments, mission control systems, and IT services- Develop secure software solutions that power JPLs projects- Work on stimulating challenges in software development for complex and unique missionsQualifications:- Enrolled at least half-time in a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD program in a technical or engineering major- Available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week during the academic year and full time (40 hours per week) in the summer- Must have at least 1 semester remaining to complete degree- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0- Relevant coursework and internship experience in software engineering- Demonstrated leadership abilities and good verbal and written communication skills- Ability to work in a team environmentJPL offers a campus-like environment located in Pasadena, inspiring passion, fostering innovation, building collaboration, and rewarding excellence.
