You will be joining the International Controllers Team at Wells Fargo, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining a strong financial control environment across the international region, primarily focusing on EMEA. Your main responsibility will be ensuring the accuracy of the books and records across entities within the region and timely, accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.**Key Responsibilities:**- Perform financial controls and prepare financial reports across assigned entities and/or lines of business- Ensure accurate books and records in compliance with relevant GAAP- Identify control weaknesses and propose/implement remedial actions- Develop and perform financial control tasks including analytical reviews, reconciliations, and GL balance substantiation- Support business lines/support functions with entity level reporting- Assist in explaining variances and facilitating understanding of financial results- Provide ad-hoc accounting support for new business initiatives- Support preparation of audited annual financial statements- Supervise team activities and provide oversight on a day-to-day basis- Prepare Intercompany Balance Sheet and Income Statement reports- Engage with regulatory reporting team members for effective cross-team interaction**Qualifications Required:**- Qualified CA/CFA/ICWA/MBA-Finance with 8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting- Experience working in a banking organization- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS- Strong communication and presentation skills- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently- Innovative mindset with a track record of process enhancement- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Good time management and organizational skills*Additional Details:*Wells Fargo & Company is a diversified,
