Role Overview:You will be joining The Hans Foundation as a Health and Nutrition Expert to promote health and well-being among marginalized communities in the MTC-Jharkhand project. Your role will involve supervising the unit, providing expert advice, developing programs, and conducting research to enhance the health and nutrition practices.Key Responsibilities:- Function as a supervisor, trainer, and counsellor for the staff and mothers/caregivers in the MTC- Chart out specific therapeutic diet plans for each child in consultation with the Medical Officer- Monitor the preparation and distribution of feeds, maintain MTC records, and prepare reports- Assess feeding problems in each child and provide individual counselling to mothers- Conduct group counselling sessions on nutrition, malnutrition, hygiene, sanitation, and infant feeding practices- Provide counselling and demonstrate structured play therapy for psychosocial stimulation- Conduct group counselling for mothers of all children admitted in the health facility and those presenting in the outpatient department- Perform any other related tasks assigned by the reporting managerQualifications & Skills:- Graduate/B.Sc.
