Purpose of the Position:
The Site Land Acquisition Manager is responsible for identifying and securing land for renewable energy projects, managing ROW, conducting feasibility assessments, negotiating land purchases, ensuring compliance, obtaining approvals, managing stakeholders, coordinating inter-departmental efforts, monitoring progress, and reporting to senior management.
Responsibilities

Wind Project Land Identifying and Site Feasibility Assessment
- Conduct detailed site feasibility analysis for renewable energy projects.
- Identify potential land acquisition opportunities.
- Build a land aggregator network for timely acquisition.
- Coordinate with state authorities for project execution and concurrence.
- Objectives: Ensure timely identification and acquisition of suitable land parcels.
- Measures: Number of title searches completed on time; number of locations acquired and registered in favour of Project SPV.

Right of Way (ROW) Management
- Secure and manage ROW for transmission lines, access roads, blade swing areas, and project infrastructure.
- Liaise with landowners, communities, and government authorities to facilitate ROW acquisition and approvals.
- Obtain necessary approvals and NOCs from relevant departments and agencies.
- Ensure compliance with local and central regulations governing ROW and land use.
- Proactively resolve disputes with stakeholders to minimise delays and guarantee uninterrupted project execution.
- Objectives: Guarantee timely ROW acquisition and approvals.
- Measures: % of ROW clearances obtained on time; reduction in ROW-related disputes; number of ROW parcels secured without escalation.
