We are currently hiring for the position of Check-in Executive at our airport location in Kolkata. This is an entry-level position, perfect for freshers who are looking to start their career in the aviation industry. As a Check-in Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and productive check-in process for our passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist passengers at the check-in counter
- Verify travel documents and ensure compliance with airline policies
- Weigh and tag luggage and issue boarding passes
- Provide information and assistance to passengers regarding flight schedules, delays, and cancellations
- Handle cash and credit card transactions for excess baggage fees
- Coordinate with other airport staff to ensure timely departure of flights
- Handle special requests and accommodations for passengers with disabilities or special needs
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized check-in area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Previous experience in the aviation industry is a plus, but not required
