Role Overview:You will be responsible for co-managing the integrity of financial and management reporting with the Business Partner(s) (BP). Your role will involve providing proactive advice to the BP on the impact of accounting standards on various business scenarios. You will work closely with the business to advise on accounting requirements for business events to facilitate better business decisions. Additionally, you will proactively identify risks in financial processes and collaborate with stakeholders to address and resolve any identified risks and financial process issues. Your responsibilities will also include determining the accounting treatment for complex, unique, and judgmental accounting events and transactions, as well as applying new/revised accounting policies in consultation with Technical Accounting and Oversight (TA&O;).Key Responsibilities:- Take co-responsibility with the Business Partner(s) (BP) for the integrity of financial and management reporting- Proactively advise the BP on the impact of accounting standards on different business scenarios- Interact closely with the business to advise on accounting requirements for business events- Identify risks to financial processes and collaborate with stakeholders to address identified risks and financial process issues- Determine accounting treatment for events and transactions of a complex, unique, and/or judgmental accounting nature- Apply current/revised accounting policies in consultation with Technical Accounting and Oversight (TA&O;)Qualifications Required:- Post-graduate qualification as chartered (management) accountant, C(I)MA, FP&A;, CFA, MBA, or equivalent- Progressive working experience in Finance, FP&A;,
financial control within an international environment- Strong and formal knowledge of IFRS- Strong Excel skills and SAP knowledge preferred- Strong knowledge of internal control processes and systems- Preferably have audit or consulting experience from Big 4 firmsAdditional Details:- Frequently interact with customers and/or functional peer group managers on matters involving functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company- Have a full understanding of company processes relevant to financial accounting- Lead cooperative efforts among members of a project team- Possess detailed knowledge of SAP functionalities and Accounting standards and policies to act as a Problem solver/Advisor for Acc Ops, Infosys, and Business stakeholders Role Overview:You will be responsible for co-managing the integrity of financial and management reporting with the Business Partner(s) (BP).
