As an experienced and detail-oriented Fiber Optic Splicer, you will be joining our telecom deployment team to perform the following key responsibilities:- Perform fiber splicing on live and new cable networks (FTTH/FTTx/Backbone).- Handle OTDR, Power Meter, and Splicing Machines efficiently.- Interpret fiber network plans, routes, and schematics.- Execute fiber testing, fault finding, and rectification.- Coordinate with field teams for network activation and maintenance.- Ensure proper documentation of splicing records and daily reports.- Maintain safety protocols and quality standards at all job sites.You should possess the following required skills:- Strong knowledge of optical fiber types, color codes, and standards.- Proficiency with fusion splicing machines and fiber test tools (OTDR, VFL).- Ability to work in field conditions and travel to deployment areas.- Basic understanding of telecom infrastructure and routes.- Good physical stamina for outdoor tasks.To qualify for this position, you should have:- 12th Pass or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunication.- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in fiber optic splicing.In addition to the job specifics, you will also enjoy the following benefits:- Market-competitive salary based on experience.- Travel allowance and field incentives.- PF/ESIC as per company policy.- Opportunity to work with leading telecom infrastructure projects.
