Description
Key Responsibilities

1. System Design & Engineering
- Design solar PV systems (rooftop, ground-mounted, or utility-scale).
- Perform system sizing, energy yield estimation, and performance analysis.
- Design DC and AC systems for solar PV plants
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and cable schedules
- Perform inverter sizing, string sizing, and cable sizing calculations
- Design earthing and lightning protection systems
- Conduct short circuit, load flow, and voltage drop analysis

System Design & Simulation
- Use tools like:
- PVsyst
- Helioscope
- AutoCAD

2. Site Assessment & Feasibility
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies.
- Analyze shadow, tilt, orientation, and structural constraints.
- Recommend optimal system configurations.





3. Technical Documentation
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and technical specifications.
- Develop design reports and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and DISCOM requirements.

4. Software & Tools
- Use design tools such as:
- PVsyst
- AutoCAD
- Perform simulations and energy generation forecasts.

5. Coordination & Execution Support
- Work closely with procurement and execution teams.
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
- Resolve in office design issues.
