Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Accountant to join our D2C beauty start-up team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of revenue-based finance, experience reconciling sales data, and previous experience working in D2C or e-commerce businesses. The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's day to day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth. Additionally, the candidate will maintain daily MIS and liaise with our virtual CFO to ensure data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the company's day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor financial performance and prepare daily MIS and Cash flows.
- Reconcile sales data with financial records and ensure accuracy in revenue recognition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to optimize financial operations.




- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements along with our virtual CFO agency
- Maintain daily MIS to track and report financial metrics.
- Handle day to day payments, salary processing, and the company’s cash flow
- Liaise with our virtual CFO to ensure data integrity and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a D2C or e-commerce workplace.
- Strong understanding of revenue-based finance and experience reconciling sales data.
- Proficiency in accounting softwares.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
