JOB DESCRIPTION: Quality Assurance Line Inspector Diploma in Mechanical or B.Sc.
1. Conduct inspection of all parts as per inspection plans & drawings.
2. Carry out first piece / last piece as well as in process inspection of all parts as per inspection plan.
3. Carryout inward inspection of outsourced parts & final inspection of parts. 4. Quarantine NC parts & avoid mix-up with OK parts.
5. Participate in NC review meetings.
6. Authorize to stop shipment & production in case of non conformity occurs. 7. Collect data for SPC studies as per plan.
8. Collect data for MSA studies as per plan.

Knowledge of handling different inspection & test equipments like Micrometer Vernier Height gauge Roughness Tester Bore gauges Dial gauges Air gauges Profile projector Vision Measuring System (VMM) Qualifying gauges Flatness Tester
10. Carryout product audits as per plan.
11. Maintain quality records as per retention period mentioned in procedure.

Skills Required Knowledge of Problem solving techniques Knowledge of GD&T; symbols & their measurement methods Knowledge of SPC & MSA Knowledge on Control plan & Drawing reading 1 Yr Min.
