Job Description – QC Engineer

Position: Quality Control (QC) Engineer
Location: [Ahmedabad]
Department: Quality / Engineering
Reports to: Quality Manager / Production Head

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-process and final inspection of products or components.

Develop and implement quality control procedures and testing protocols.

Identify defects and coordinate with production teams for corrective actions.

Maintain accurate inspection and test reports.

Ensure compliance with ISO and other industry standards.

Monitor equipment calibration and inspection tools.

Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.

Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding quality concerns.

Support audits and internal quality reviews.

Train production staff on quality standards and best practices.

Requirements:

-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.

2–5 years of experience in quality control or assurance.

-
Knowledge of QA/QC tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, etc.

-
Familiarity with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or similar standards.

Robust attention to detail and analytical skills.

Proficient in MS Office and quality software tools.
