Minimum 7+ years of experience on Device Management , with a solid focus on the SAP DM and CS.
- Experience working with utility companies and understanding their business processes is highly desirable.
- Understanding of the underlying data structures and tables in SAP IS-U.
- Lead configuration and customization of SAP IS-U DM modules including:
Device Installation, Removal, Replacement, and Modification
Meter Reading processes (MRO, estimation, extrapolation, uploads via IDOCs)
Technical Master Data (Connection Object, Premise, Installation, Device Location)
Device Inspection and lifecycle management
- Design and implement Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) integrations
- Develop and maintain custom routines for meter reading validation and estimation
- Define and implement user exits, BADI/BAPI functions, and Z tables for validations
- Lead blueprinting, detailed design, testing (unit, integration, performance), and documentation
- Manage exception handling and reporting using BPEM
Customer Service (CS):
- Support Customer Service business processes integrated with SAP ISU
- Provide internal consulting for enhancements and sustainment of CS systems
- Collaborate with business units to align IT solutions with strategic goals
- Lead training and knowledge transfer sessions for business users and stakeholders
