What you will Do:
- Review customer contracts and identify performance obligations under ASC 606.
- Determine appropriate transaction price allocation and timing of revenue recognition.
- Prepare and maintain detailed revenue schedules, including deferred revenue and contract assets/liabilities.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls over revenue recognition processes.
- Prepare revenue-related disclosures for financial statements and assist with footnote preparation.
- Research and document technical accounting positions related to revenue recognition for complex arrangements.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline revenue accounting and reporting.
- Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits related to revenue and other accounting areas.
- Respond to auditor inquiries and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
- Support preparation of financial statements and related disclosures under US GAAP including disclosures required under ASC 606.
- Assist with consolidation and reporting processes as needed.
- Perform research and analysis on various accounting matters.
- Collaborate with the US team on special projects and process improvements.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Big 4 or large public accounting firm experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, with emphasis on ASC 606.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Costpoint, PeopleSoft) and financial reporting tools (e.g., Oracle FCCS) is a plus.
- CPA (or progress toward certification) or CA Intermediate is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
