About the Role

We're hiring a Product Manager III to join Itron's EP&R; (Emergency Preparedness and Response) product team, based in our Bangalore office. EP&R; is one of Itron's most critical solutions, helping utilities plan for and respond to severe weather events and large-scale outages.

You'll report to our Lead PM and partner closely with engineering teams in Bangalore and Thailand.



The role is intentionally placed in Bangalore for time zone alignment and collaboration with both teams. As a core member of EP&R; product - your primary focus will be our Storm Manager, Storm Impact, and Callout applications, with opportunities to contribute to platform initiatives as we build more horizontal capabilities across EP&R; and adjacent product lines.

What You'll Do
- Drive the roadmap for Storm Manager, Storm Impact, and Callout. Prioritize the backlog, plan releases, and align delivery to company goals.
- Drive discovery. Interview customers, partner with internal SMEs, and validate solutions through experimentation before committing engineering capacity.
- Prototype to learn faster. Use AI-assisted tools (Claude, Cursor, Replit, Figma Make etc.) to mockup flows, test ideas with customers, and de-risk decisions before they hit a sprint.
