Summary:
As a Database Administrator, you will engage in the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work collaboratively with team members to ensure optimal database performance and reliability, while also contributing to the overall efficiency of data management processes within the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations.
- Assist in the development of backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database queries.
- Familiarity with database security practices and user access management.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery techniques for database systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in PostgreSQL.
- This position is based at our Indore office.
