This role is part of the AI, Platform Engineering & DevX (APEX) to lead Near-Realtime (NRT) teams under Data Streaming Platform area.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Software Engineering, NRT. This role is part of AI, Platform Engineering & DevX (APEX). The candidate needs to have a solid understanding of technical concepts, excellent attention to detail, data accuracy, and management,



strong verbal and written communication skills, and be self-motivated and operates with a high sense of urgency and a high level of integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- 13-15 Years of related experience with strong technical understanding in Apache/Confluent Kafka and Apache NiFi.
- Experience with managing a community of practice consisting of streaming developer/platform engineers responsible for facilitating real time data streaming using Kafka and NiFi is strongly preferred.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in people management leading multiple teams globally
- Detailed understanding and experience in Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, ECS
- Good understanding and experience with DevOps practices and tech stack (Terraform, Jenkins, Puppet, GitHub)
- Good hands on working experience in AWS ecosystem
- Experience with API/first architecture design, distributed systems (e.g., microser
