A Fraud and AML Support Analyst provides administrative anti-fraud and AML compliance support across Voya’s recordkeeping and insurance operations by reviewing and resolving fraud alerts, including account takeover, sanctions, suspicious activity, and FinCEN requests. The role involves analyzing customer interactions and transaction data to identify suspicious patterns, making sound risk-based decisions, and preparing detailed investigation summaries with recommendations to prevent future fraud. The analyst also escalates complex cases when required and supports US AML Officers in risk assessments, procedures, and audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
The Contributions You Will Make
• Provide administrative anti-fraud support to key functions across Voya’s recordkeeper and insurance companies.
• Review and render disposition on daily fraud alerts to detect account takeover fraud and prevent loss
• Provide general AML Compliance support to Voya Financial across multiple business lines and functions.
• Review and resolve alerts related to account takeover fraud, sanctions, suspicious activity, and FinCEN search requests.
• Use business systems to research customer interactions via phone and web, as well as transaction details and history.
• Use good judgment to differentiate between legitimate and suspicious activity.
• Prepare detailed summaries of findings and recommendations on how to negate future fraud instances
• Where necessary, escalate matters to US AML Officers or designees.
• Support US AML Officers or designees on risk assessments, AML procedures, and audits.
• Other general support of AML compliance as assigned.
