Job Summary:

We at Fusion Practices are seeking a skilled Release Engineer with hands-on experience in Visual Builder Studio and Oracle technologies such as VBCS, APEX, ORDS, and Autonomous Database. The ideal candidate should have experience in Oracle PL/SQL and a deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release automation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Visual Builder Studio and/or Azure DevOps.
- Manage end-to-end release cycles for Oracle technologies including VBCS, APEX, ORDS, and PL/SQL components.
- Handle versioning, promotion, and migration of code and configurations across environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod).
- Automate and validate database schema changes in Oracle ATP, ensuring safe and rollback-friendly deployments.
- Maintain consistent setting parity by streamlining release processes and enforcing configuration standards.
- Collaborate closely with developers, DBAs,



and QA teams to align release efforts with delivery timelines.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure minimal downtime and high reliability of deployments.

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in release engineering or DevOps roles, preferably within Oracle environments.
- Hands-on experience with Visual Builder Studio pipelines and/or Azure DevOps.
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle VBCS, APEX, ORDS, and Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP).
- Solid experience with Oracle PL/SQL development – ability to read and manage complex scripts.
- Proficiency in automating deployments, managing version control (Git/Oracle VBS), and promoting builds.
- Experience in migrating UI and data components while maintaining stability across environments.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (Shell, Python, SQLcl, Liquibase) is a plus.
