Accountabilities
Major Activities

Operational Management (35%)
- Oversee day-to-day O&M; of 765/400/220 kV substation and 765/400 kV transmission lines.
- Ensure grid availability, system reliability, and timely fault restoration.
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance practices.

Safety & Compliance (20%)
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and permit-to-work systems.
- Drive safety culture and ensure zero-harm operations.
- Ensure compliance with CEA, CERC, POSOCO, SLDC and internal HSEE standards.

Maintenance Planning & Execution (15%)
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for substation and transmission lines.
- Coordinate planned outages with grid authorities and stakeholders

Team & Contractor Management (15%)
- Lead site teams and contractors to ensure performance, discipline, and skill development.
- Monitor contractor compliance with quality and safety standards.

Asset Performance & Reporting (10%)
- Monitor KPIs, system availability, and outage statistics.




- Provide reports to Zonal Head and corporate teams.

Stakeholder Coordination (5%)
- Liaise with grid operators, regulatory bodies, local authorities, and OEMs for smooth operations.

Prioritize maintenance activities and resource deployment at site.

Decide immediate corrective actions during faults or emergencies.

Allocate manpower and contractor resources for operational needs.

Implement site-level safety measures and work controls.

Recommend capital replacements or major repairs.

Propose manpower strengthening and contractor engagement.

Seek approval for budgetary expenditures beyond delegated authority.
