You will be joining a lean team of highly skilled developers and working on open-source level coding standards. In this role you will be working on extending the feature set for an ecommerce marketplace based on Saleor. You’ll also be responsible for improving server performance and server maintenance.
You will be stepping on an prospect full of learning and growth. You’ll own features/projects end to end and will get more comfortable with building things from groundup. As you improve your coding skills, a team of interns will help you to improve on your management skills. You will always be surrounded by a productive environment. You’ll also get a chance to work on the ML frameworks to improve search results and calculate credit risks.
Responsibilities :
- Active participation in design feasibility, arch, timeline estimation meetings
- Transform PRD into code for optimal server/db performance while following high coding standards
- Create model schema, caching strategy, API (query/mutation) spec document & GraphQL queries/mutations
- Own features from feasibility check to go-live
- Identify and execute performance improvements for the server, db and cache
- Mentor and manage a small team of interns.
- Sync with other teams(Frontend, Product, Design) for optimum productivity
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 2-3 years of python and django experience
- Good understanding of fundamentals like OOPS, ORM(SQL), queues, caching(redis) and system design fundamentals
- Excellent debugging skills
- Familiarity with any testing framework, Graphene, aws is a big plus
