As part of the Team,



the current resource will support at 360° database layer of several services on different technologies, participate into international projects and have a chance to influence current and future technology choices.
There will be occasional weekend work required as Saturdays are used to test and roll forward software and cloud infra releases.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, support and maintain critical database applications
Team management; demand management, maintaining a shift and on-call rota, regular one to ones, team meetings, annual appraisals
Gain an in-depth knowledge of the unit’s processes and ensure team compliance with these processes with solid focus on driving down incidents and problems while delivering changes
Advocate and promote Engineering principles, drive quality standards across the database suite
Have familiarity with security and operational responsibilities
