As a Knowledge Analyst, you are a part of the Knowledge Management team, where your main focus is to make sure everybody within the company collaborates through creating, updating and sharing knowledge.
You will work on knowledge management initiatives as part of the KM strategy and organize knowledge sharing sessions and trainings. You are a knowledge enthusiast who makes sure that knowledge sharing culture is on top of mind of our employees. You will directly report to our Knowledge Manager.
What are we trying to achieve with this role in KM?
The goal is to enhance knowledge management within the organization. The knowledge analyst is responsible for gathering, organizing, and analyzing information to improve decision-making processes, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation. By leveraging their expertise in data analysis and information retrieval, the knowledge analyst helps to identify trends, best practices, and areas for improvement within the firm. Ultimately, the role of a knowledge analyst is to facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration,
and continuous learning among employees, leading to improved performance and competitive advantage for the organization.
Scope of work:
- Create and maintain knowledge bases and documentation of best practices
- Responsible for creating, uploading and tagging knowledge assets and making sure these are stored at the right location
- Responsible for applying any metadata changes to the existing knowledge
- Responsible for managing overall health and hygiene of the content
- Gather, analyse, and organize data and information related to technology, systems, and processes within the organization
- Organize and maintain knowledge repositories and ensure that these remain up-to-date
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate and latest information is available to all employees
