Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Excel-based applications using VBA to automate data processing and reporting tasks.

• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and ETL processes to ensure high-quality datasets for analysis.

• Create and maintain macros for automated reporting and data manipulation in Excel.

• Troubleshoot existing VBA subroutines and macros, identifying functional and non-functional errors, and implementing fixes.

• Extend and enhance existing VBA subs and macros without breaking existing functionality.

• Interact with databases using ADODB, OLEDB, DAO, ODBC, Excel Connection for data retrieval and manipulation.

• Write and optimize complex queries in PL/SQL and T-SQL, including stored procedures, to enhance data processing efficiency.

• Design and implement Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERD) for database design and documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver analytical solutions.





• Work with data-centric applications and contribute to data warehousing projects.

• Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues within database processes and Excel macros, implementing optimization techniques such as indexing and query refinement.

• Provide insights through data analysis, supporting business decisions with actionable recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field having 6-9 years of experience

• Proven experience in VBA and Excel programming with a strong understanding of data manipulation.

• Proficiency in data processing, cleaning, and ETL processes.

• Robust experience with ADODB connectivity, recordsets, and database programming.

• In-depth knowledge of PL/SQL and T-SQL; ability to write optimized stored procedures.

• Experience in creating Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERD).

• Familiarity with data-ce
