Job Description:
Design Engineer creates, analyzes, and improves hydraulic lifting systems, specializing in cylinder design, power units, and control valves. Key responsibilities include creating 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings, performing hydraulic circuit calculations, and ensuring compliance with safety codes
Key Responsibilities
- System Design: Design, develop, and detail hydraulic elevator components, including hydraulic cylinders, pumps, tanks, and piping circuits.
- CAD & Documentation: Produce 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings using software like SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or AutoCAD.
- Engineering Analysis: Perform calculations for load, pressure, flow rates, and hydraulic power requirements.
- Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all designs comply with local and international elevator safety standards.
- Collaboration: Work with production and installation teams to ensure manufacturability and troubleshoot field issues.
- Optimization: Modify existing designs to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve performance.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics, or Mechatronics.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in hydraulic system design, preferably within the elevator or heavy machinery industry.
