Job Description:
A vacancy for a Tech Lead with expertise in FrontEnd development has arisen within Airbus India in Bangalore. You will join the Software Development team within the Digital department for a specific domain - Skywise.
Following best IT practices and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), the team developed software products on iOS/iPad, web applications, etc. that can be used by pilots.

As a member of the Software Factory (Skywise) team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using QT / QML/ C++. You will also be responsible for profiling and improving application performance and documenting our front-end codebase.

We are looking for a high energy, team player as part of a squad and you will support all aspects of software development including estimates, coding and testing, automation and support of solutions and their deployment process. Squads support specific services which work together to provide flight operation solutions for airlines to run safe and performant operations.

This position will report to a Group Manager within Airbus India. Passion for technology and problem solving are a must have.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Lead the software development team technically, on all SDLC aspects as well as coding/debugging/testing, etc.
- Perform code reviews for team members and suggest improvements
- Provide suggestions to the Group Manager on potential skill upgrade or performance impact for the team
- Propose low-level design in line with the software architecture principles for new features to be developed by the development team and also review the design proposed by team for smaller features / modifications
- Work closely with Solution Arch
