Role: Senior SAP Datasphere Developer / Datasphere Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Datasphere Developer / Architect with deep expertise in data architecture, enterprise-grade data modeling, transformations, and ETL design within SAP Datasphere. The ideal candidate will play a solution ownership and architecture role, driving scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions integrated with the broader SAP ecosystem, including SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design
- Define and own the end-to-end data architecture on SAP Datasphere, aligning technical design with business and analytical requirements.
- Design and implement enterprise semantic models using Business Builder, Analytical Models, and shared entities for reuse across reporting layers.
- Establish modeling standards, naming conventions, and design guidelines for Datasphere development.

Data Engineering & Integration
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, harmonization,



and aggregation from multiple SAP and non-SAP source systems.
- Architect and implement Replication Flows (real-time and batch) leveraging CDS-based extraction with delta / CDC considerations.
- Build and optimize SQL-based views and complex transformations for analytical and reporting use cases.
- Configure Remote Tables and Data Flows based on latency, performance, and data persistence requirements.

Governance, Security & Performance
- Define and implement Data Access Controls (DAC) for row-level and column-level security across analytical models.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, authorization concepts, and audit requirements.
- Proactively monitor and optimize performance using Data Integration Monitor, query execution plans, and model design best practices.
- Drive performance tuning strategies across replication, transformation, and consumption layers.
