Role description:

Manage HSW operations and compliance for smaller countries or manage national operations within larger countries, ensuring protected and secure working environments. Responsible for HSW second-line assurance for your country/operation. Ensure HSW compliance with applicable legislation

Role accountabilities:
Strategic Leadership & Program Development:
- Implement and monitor HSW programs locally in alignment with country and global policies and procedures.
- Provide professional leadership in HSW at an industry, sector or service level, confirming alignment with Arcadis’ strategic objectives
- Develop, implement,



and maintain occupational HSW programs (including competency and engagement)
- Lead the respective country / operation to establish and monitor HSW goals and objectives for industry, sector and service
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

Technical & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal procedures.
- Maintain advanced professional expertise and practitioner-level knowledge in H&S; disciplines and apply related skills to maintain operational excellence
- Drive compliance accountability with leadership on applicable regulations, standards, and best practices
- Investigate/document accidents/incidents; implement corrective actions
- Lead emergency response planning at the country / operational level.

Client & Project Management:
- Lead specialized project HSW components, confirm client satisfaction, effective communication, and collaboration
