Description
As an SAP ABAP Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our team, working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality technical solutions across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments, ensuring our systems meet the evolving needs of our business.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP programs to align with business requirements.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of SAP ABAP programs.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior team members.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, and implement them in your work.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Document and maintain technical specifications and system designs.
- Participate in project planning and provide accurate estimates for development tasks.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and best practices in SAP ABAP development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming, including OOPs concepts, ABAP Web Dynpro, and SAP UI5.
- Experience with SAP HANA database and SAP Fiori is highly desirable.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is an advantage.
