Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule daily transportation activities and delivery routes.
- Coordinate vehicle allocation based on shipment priorities and capacity.
- Monitor dispatch operations and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Optimize transportation costs, route efficiency, and fleet utilization.
- Liaise with transport vendors, drivers, warehouses, and internal teams.
- Track shipments and resolve transportation-related issues promptly.
- Maintain transportation records, MIS reports, and logistics documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, transportation laws, and company policies.
- Analyze logistics performance metrics and suggest process improvements.
- Handle emergency transportation adjustments and escalation management.
- Plan in- or/and outbound transport taking into account transport regulation;
- Combine orders to achieve efficient transportation.
- Manage unforeseen incidents in the transportation planning process.
