Field Service Technician – Lithium Battery (E-Rickshaw & Home Inverter)

Job Type:

Full-time

Role Overview:

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for in office inspection, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lithium-ion batteries used in E-rickshaws and home inverter systems.

Key Responsibilities:

 Technical Tasks

 Checks and diagnostics of lithium-ion batteries in E-rickshaws and home inverters at customer site

 Perform capacity testing, voltage/current measurement, and thermal monitoring.

 Identify faults, degradation, or safety risks in battery packs.

 Carry out preventive maintenance and minor repairs.

 Replace defective cells/modules and ensure proper disposal as per safety standards.





 Maintain accurate service records, test reports, and customer logs.

 Customer Interaction

 Visit customer sites to provide technical support and resolve battery-related issues.

 Educate customers on battery usage, charging practices, and safety precautions.

 Provide feedback to the company on recurring issues and customer concerns.

 Compliance & Reporting

 Follow all safety guidelines for handling lithium-ion batteries.

 Ensure compliance with environmental and recycling regulations.

 Report field findings to the technical team for product improvement.
