What You Will Do?
Business Partnership & Decision Support
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders (e.g., Directors, VPs), translating financial data into actionable business strategies
- Participate in leadership forums (e.g., BRMs, townhalls) and provide commentary on business performance
- Proactively guide leaders through trade-offs, investment decisions, and risk mitigation plans
Performance Management
- Leverage performance data (shared by Global FP&A; & FDI) to uncover key drivers, identify opportunities, and recommend corrective actions that support informed business decisions.
- Drive discussions on risks & opportunities and track key initiatives that impact profitability, growth, and cash flow
- Lead the financial sign-off of business performance for assigned function/segment
Forecast & Target Alignment
- Collaborate with Global FP&A; during planning cycles to validate business assumptions, strategic inputs, and non-financial drivers
- Support target setting for business areas by connecting operational knowledge with data-driven insights
- Represent the business in aligning forecast assumptions with market trends and operational realities
Commercial Support & Business Cases
- Provide targeted financial insight, analysis, and strategic guidance to Operations, Commercial, or Supporting Functions to drive performance, optimize resources, and support decision-making.
- Review, challenge, and co-develop business cases for recent initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
- Provide ROI analysis and help prioritize initiatives that create financial and operational impact
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build cross-functional relationships with leaders across verticals/segments in Hempel
