Job Description
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Network Administrator - IT (L2) located in Chennai.
Reporting to the Senior Manager & the role involves
What a typical day looks like:
- Robust technical expertise in areas such as Routing, Switching, Security and Traffic Optimization.
- Technical expert with sharp skills in technologies such as Dynamic Routing Protocols, LAN switches, Wireless LAN technologies, Firewall configuration, SSL & IPSec VPN/DMVPN configuration, Cisco WAAS/vWAAS, AppNav Controllers, Performance Routing (PFRv3), cisco AVC.
- Experience working with Network QOS
- In-depth experience/operational knowledge working with SNMP, NetFlow, and Network Tools
- Good knowledge and working experience on ISR & ASR with IOS XE platform.
- Experience in handling complex production issues, major outages, root cause analysis (RCA) and excellent diagnostic, problem solving skills.
- Effective communication with high degree of escalation management
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Any graduate or post graduate
- 8+Years of IT experience.
- 5+ years of experience in WAN alone, 5 to 7 years is more preferred
- L2 Network Support.
- Technologies/Protocols: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP, IPsec, VPN/DMVPN, MPLS. QoS, Multicast, dot1q, STP, VLANS, VTP, HSRP, VoIP, WLAN, DNS, DHCP, ARP, SNMP, NetFlow, Cisco vPC, FCoE, Cisco Fabric Path etc."
- Products: Cisco Catalyst Switches, Cisco Routers (ISR & ASR with IOS XE platform), Cisco Nexu
