Key Responsibilities:
- FPGA Firmware Development: Design, code, and optimize FPGA firmware using Intel FPGA development tools (e.g., Quartus Prime) to meet project requirements and specifications.
- Algorithm Implementation: Implement complex algorithms in FPGA firmware to achieve high-performance computing tasks, signal processing, or data acceleration.
- Debugging and Testing: Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and validation of FPGA firmware to ensure functionality and performance, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Integration: Collaborate with hardware engineers and software developers to integrate FPGA firmware into larger systems and ensure seamless operation.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of FPGA firmware designs, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Optimization: Continuously optimize FPGA firmware code for improved performance, resource utilization, and power efficiency.
- Compliance:
Ensure that FPGA designs adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and project managers, to achieve project goals and milestones.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in FPGA firmware development, with a robust emphasis on Intel FPGA devices.
- Proficiency in FPGA development tools, such as Quartus Prime and knowledge of VHDL or Verilog. Experience of Programming in soft processor like NIOS.
- Strong understanding of FPGA architecture, embedded systems, and digital signal processing (DSP) concepts.
- Experience with debugging and testing FPGA-based systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
