Role & Responsibilities
- Improve the production processes to maximize efficiency and reduce waste
- Studying the processes to analyze the cycle times and establish benchmarks
- Studying the existing layouts and exploring improvement scope with all statutory requirements and compliances
- Understanding the process requirements and designing/finalizing layouts with the latest technology in aid with the machine suppliers and third-party solutions
- Implementing Industry 4.0 solutions
- Develop solutions to optimize the cycle times for various processes and improve efficiencies by reducing ENVAs and eliminating NVAs
- Designing the layouts and setup for export locations, aiding in the setup of the plant and providing training to the export personnel for both production and quality
- Develop and implement solutions for ease of material handling
- Reviewing production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information
- Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades




- Training staff for new processes and providing instructions and developing/updating manuals
- Managing process documentation and preparing production reports
- Converting manual processes to automation through SPM, LCA etc.

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Engineering (Mech / Ind Eng. / Elec / Electronics etc.)
- Knowledge about mechanical systems
- Relevant work experience (7 years - 12 years in the automotive industry)
- Project management
- Capability to initiate/handle discussions with suppliers/developers
- Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Solid communication and presentation skills
- Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Documentation and organization skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
- Should be Technically proficient as per industrial standards.
