Job description
The Solutions / Technical Expert (TE) – Core Storage & Data Modernization Solutions works closely with the India regional sales and presales teams, leveraging deep technical expertise to design and position compelling solutions that address customers’ mission-critical data and application challenges. The TE is expected to have solid technical depth across Hitachi Vantara’s portfolio, including Virtual Storage Platform One (Block),
VSP One File, VSP One SDS, and VSP 360 management solutions, enabling effective solutioning and customer engagement.
The Technical Expert role is a highly skilled technical sales position, recognized as both a subject matter expert and trusted advisor with a strong understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape. In addition to working closely with the India Sales and Presales organizations, the TE acts as a strategic liaison between field teams and Solutions Leads / Product Management teams, ensuring alignment between customer requirements, field feedback, and product strategy. Key responsibilities include leading customer solution demonstrations, driving proof-of-value (POV) engagements, and supporting technical validation activities that accelerate customer decision-making.
