Project Role : Performance Engineer
Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.
Must have skills : Micro Focus LoadRunner, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Java, Kubernetes, Gatling, Splunk

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer with solid expertise in Gatling and Micro Focus LoadRunner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and analyzing performance tests for complex, large-scale applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure system reliability, scalability, and stability under varying load conditions.

Roles & Responsibilities:




Design and develop performance test strategies, plans, and scripts using Gatling and LoadRunner.
Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests across web, API, and enterprise applications.
Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide tuning recommendations at the application, database, and infrastructure levels.
Work with developers and architects to debug performance issues and suggest code or configuration improvements.
Develop automation for performance test execution within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Monitor system metrics (CPU, memory, network, DB performance) during test runs.
Prepare detailed reports highlighting system performance, bottlenecks, and optimization recommendations.
Collaborate with functional QA teams to align performance scenarios with real-world business use cases.
