Responsibilities
1. Support in screening, interviewing and hiring recent underwriters
2. To provide effective strategies for building and growing the DIS Underwriting Operations. The goal is to build a strong team of 100 offshore underwriters.
3. Oversee progress of classroom and on job training.
4. Oversee Production ramp up to meet the required level.
5. Monitor quality level and give directions to progress on quality level.
6. Work with Presales manager to pitch for new business.
7. Provide the necessary day-to-day business report (MIS, Executive Summary Report, Business Insights)
8. Manage the SLA and delivery obligations made with the client.

Qualifications
- Should possess a minimum of 20 years of experience in US real estate underwriting operations
- Should possess a master’s degree in any field that complements the operations management (MBA, or any other master’s program)
- Should have managed US Clients in the Real Estate Underwriting space (Collateral, Character, Capacity, Credit)
- Should be open to travel to US on a periodic basis and hence should have a B1/B2 business
