? Role Overview
The Technical Support Manager will lead technical services for construction chemical products including admixtures, waterproofing systems, grouts, repair mortars, flooring systems, and sealants. The role involves site support, product application guidance, troubleshooting, customer technical engagement, and coordination with sales & R&D; teams.
This position is critical in supporting project sales growth through strong technical credibility and in office problem solving.
? Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Technical Site Support
- Provide on-site technical assistance to contractors, applicators, consultants, and project teams.
- Conduct trials for concrete admixtures, waterproofing systems, repair materials, and dry-mix products.
- Troubleshoot product performance issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Ensure proper product application as per technical datasheets and SOPs.
2️⃣ Project & Consultant Engagement
- Conduct technical presentations for architects, structural consultants, and PMC teams.
- Support specification approvals and vendor registrations.
- Handle technical submittals, method statements, and product documentation.
3️⃣ Team Management
- Lead and mentor regional technical officers / site engineers.
- Develop training modules for applicators and sales teams.
- Monitor field technical performance and ensure quality standards.
4️⃣ Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Sales for pre-sales and post-sales technical closures.
- Coordinate with R&D; for product improvement based on site feedback.
- Support Quality team in resolving product complaints.
5️⃣ Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain technical visit reports and site performance records.
