Job Summary:

We are looking for a Data Scientist with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Python, API integration, and financial analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of finance terminologies and logic used in reporting, ledgers, payroll, receivables, outstanding balances, vendor analysis, and tax anomalies. This role involves working with financial data, building predictive models, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Modeling:
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and develop predictive models.
- Detect anomalies in taxation, payroll, receivables, and vendor transactions.

Python & API Development:
- Develop data pipelines and automation scripts using Python.
- Integrate and consume APIs for data extraction and processing.

Financial Data Insights:




- Work with financial reports, ledgers, outstanding balances, and vendor analytics.
- Build algorithms to optimize financial reporting and forecasting.

Anomaly Detection & Risk Analysis:
- Identify discrepancies in taxation, receivables, and payables.
- Develop anomaly detection models for fraud detection and compliance.

Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with finance teams to understand requirements and optimize reports.
- Present insights through dashboards and reports using Power BI/Tableau.

Required Skills:
- Programming: Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
- APIs: Experience with RESTful APIs for financial data integration.
- Financial Knowledge: Understanding of finance terminologies (ledgers, payroll, vendor analysis, taxation anomalies).
- Machine Learning: Basic ML techniques for anomaly detection and forecasting.
