As a key member of the Commercial Excellence Team, reporting directly to the AMEA Pricing Manager, the Pricing Analyst will play a critical role in supporting Avantor’s pricing strategy. This role focuses on developing and implementing data-driven pricing strategies aimed at optimizing revenue, maximizing margins, and enhancing market share, while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
The Pricing Analyst will work closely with Sales, Portfolio Management, Master Data, and Finance teams to streamline pricing operations, ensuring efficient collaboration and process optimization. You will partner with analytics leadership to drive improvements in pricing infrastructure, ensuring pricing decisions are well-informed and based on high-quality data. This role also involves generating insightful data analysis reports and making actionable recommendations to support key business decisions.
The position spans multiple business units, covering the analytical needs of both the Laboratory Solutions Segment (LSS) and the Bioscience Production Segment (BPS).
What we're looking for:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from a Tier-1 college; an MBA from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 business school is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pricing Analyst or in a similar role, ideally within an MNC in a B2B workplace managing a diverse product portfolio.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, optimization techniques, and experience with margin analysis and price-volume-mix.
- Proficiency in SAP, advanced Excel, R programming language, and data visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau).
- Experience with pricing tools is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform complex analyses.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
