As a Senior R&D; Tester, you will...
play a key role in safeguarding the quality of our UMAX products and solutions before they go live. You translate complex requirements into well‑designed test scenarios, prepare and execute system and integration tests, and ensure every deliverable meets our internal quality standards. Acting as a quality expert within the team, you identify risks early,
advise on test strategy and coverage, automate regression tests, and collaborate closely with functional and technical consultants. You document your work clearly, coach junior testers, and help drive a culture of excellence throughout the development lifecycle.
You will work in the EU time zones as part of a multi-disciplinary Product Development team focusing on delivering value to our European customers.
What you will work on
- Analyze functional requirements, supporting documents, and functional design documents.
- Evaluate and estimate the required testing effort, and provide informed risk-based recommendations on test approach and coverage.
- Design test scenarios and test cases according to the Itineris standards, and execute them.
- Report on test progress, log defects accurately, and communicate effectively with technical consultants.
