Job Overview

As a Manufacturing & Process Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in launching new products and developing, industrializing, and implementing advanced manufacturing technologies. You will be responsible for managing New projects while supporting Existing initiatives/Projects, performing risk analysis and mitigation, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including Product Development, Operations, Quality, and other stakeholders to design, validate, and optimize robust manufacturing processes that enable innovative product introductions while ensuring adherence to TE’s quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements
- Analyze new technologies and manufacturing processes; plan, evaluate, and assess feasibility for new and existing automation projects.




- Apply solid troubleshooting and failure‑analysis skills using structured problem‑solving methodologies such as DMAIC, 5 Whys, 8D, and other root‑cause analysis tools.
- Work closely with local plant resources and cross‑functional teams to execute deliverables aligned with the NPD Phase Gate process.
- Provide DFM/DFA feedback during early product design stages to ensure manufacturability and cost effectiveness.
- Conduct Process FMEAs (PFMEA) and implement robust mitigation strategies for high‑risk items.
- Utilize manufacturing engineering tools to support process development and qualification, including capability studies, sample builds, and First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on cost estimation for new product concepts.
