Flexcar is looking for a Senior Platform (DevOps) Engineer to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure, developer tools, and observability systems that power our applications. You’ll work closely with software engineers, data engineers, and security stakeholders to ensure our platform is simple, scalable, cost-efficient, and easy to build upon.
This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll take ownership of critical platform projects — including cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring & observability, and developer experience. You’ll report directly to the Director of Engineering and play a key role in shaping the direction of the platform as we continue to scale Flexcar’s business.What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and manage our infrastructure platform on AWS using Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, and related tooling.
- Drive improvements to our observability platform using Open Telemetry and the Grafana stack (Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Grafana).
- Collaborate with the Security team to improve posture, compliance, and best practices across our infrastructure and CI/CD platforms.
- Work with the Data Engineering team to support the data infrastructure needs and maintain platform integrations with analytics pipelines (e.g., NiFi, dbt, Redshi
