Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Airport Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the airport, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all airport activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all airport operations, including ground handling, passenger services, and aircraft maintenance
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Monitor and maintain airport facilities, equipment, and services to ensure they are in good working condition
- Manage and train a team of airport staff, including supervisors, customer service agents, and ground crew
- Ensure the safety and security of all airport operations, including implementing emergency response protocols
- Liaise with airlines, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely airport operations
- Prepare and manage budgets for airport operations, including forecasting and cost control measures
- Oversee the development and implementation of new airport projects and initiatives
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments to continuously improve airport operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in airport operations or a similar role
- Knowledge of aviation regulations
