The Planning Engineer is responsible for preparing Production Planning Schedules, coordinating with Cross-Functional Departments, and ensuring the Timely Completion of customer orders. The role focuses on Production Planning, Resource Optimization, Production Monitoring, and maintaining On-Time Delivery Commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Production Planning Schedules.
- Review Customer Orders and prioritize Production Activities.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, and Production Departments.
- Monitor Raw Material Availability before releasing Production Plans.
- Ensure smooth Workflow Coordination between departments.
- Track Order Progress from Production to Dispatch.
- Prepare Production Status Reports and MIS Reports for management.
- Plan Manpower Allocation and Machine Utilization effectively.
- Identify Production Bottlenecks and recommend Corrective Actions.
- Monitor Production Targets and Delivery Commitments.
- Coordinate Urgent Orders and Customer Priorities.
- Maintain Production Planning Records and Documentation.
- Ensure On-Time Completion of all Manufacturing Activities.
- Support Continuous Process Improvement initiatives.
- Follow Quality Standards, Safety Procedures, and Company SOPs.
