Job Purpose
To execute warehouse operations efficiently by performing receiving, put-away, picking, packing, inventory handling, loading/unloading, and dispatch activities while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and customer service standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Operations
- Unload incoming shipments safely and accurately.
- Verify received quantities against documents.
- Perform GRN-related activities as per process.
- Execute put-away activities within defined TAT.
- Report damages, shortages, or discrepancies immediately.
Outbound Operations
- Pick orders accurately as per system instructions.
- Perform packing according to customer requirements.
- Conduct order verification before dispatch.
- Support loading activities and ensure vehicle dispatch readiness.
- Adhere to shipment cut-off timelines.
Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory accuracy in assigned locations.
- Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Report stock variances and damaged inventory.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO and inventory control procedures.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow Maersk EHS and warehouse safety standards.
- Properly use PPE and material handling equipment.
- Maintain positive housekeeping (5S) standards.
- Report near misses, unsafe conditions, and incidents immediately.
- Comply with customer and warehouse SOPs.
Quality & Productivity
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
- Minimize picking, packing, and shipment errors.
- Ensure proper handling of products to prevent damages.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Basic warehouse operations knowledge.
- Basic SAP knowledge
- Excel knowledge.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in shifts -staged shift and night shift
Education & Experience
- PUC / Graduate
- 0–2 years of warehouse or logistics experience.
- Freshers can also be considered based on operational requirements.
