Job Description:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults to minimize plant downtime.
- Maintain and repair motors, MCC panels, PCC panels, VFDs, transformers, and switchgear.
- Carry out installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Inspect and maintain lighting systems, cable trays, control panels, and electrical distribution networks.
- Monitor electrical utilities and ensure uninterrupted power supply to plant operations.
- Execute preventive maintenance activities as per the maintenance schedule.
- Maintain daily maintenance records, checklists, and electrical logs.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, LOTO practices, and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth plant operation.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and protected working practices in the electrical maintenance area.
- Support shutdown activities and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
