We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle DBA to lead the administration, optimization, and security of our Oracle database landscape, including mission-critical systems supporting enterprise applications like SAP. This role requires deep Oracle expertise, along with exposure to SAP Basis-related database administration to support SAP environments running on Oracle.The ideal candidate brings a robust background in Oracle database technologies, high availability architecture, and hands-on experience with SAP-Oracle integration or collaboration with SAP Basis teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot multiple Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c, 21c) in production, development, and QA environments.
- Perform installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations (including platform and cross-version migrations).
- Optimize database performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and advanced tuning techniques.
- Manage high availability and disaster recovery configurations using Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.




- Implement and test robust backup/recovery strategies using RMAN and/or third-party tools.
- Automate administrative tasks and reporting using shell scripting, PL/SQL, or Python.
- Collaborate with SAP Basis team to support SAP systems using Oracle, including performance tuning and backup coordination.
- Ensure database compliance with security, audit, and regulatory standards (SOX, ISO, etc.).
- Participate in capacity planning, infrastructure scaling, and cloud database strategy (OCI, AWS RDS, etc.).
- Lead database initiatives such as cloud adoption, consolidation, and disaster recovery planning.
- Provide 24x7 support for critical systems and assist in root cause analysis for database-related incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in large-scale, enterprise-grade environments.
